2018: A starter in all 18 matches during her junior campaign and played 1,516 minutes on the pitch…credited with two assists in JSU’s 7-0 win over Jackson State (8/19) on the opening weekend of the season…finished with 14 shots, including three on goal…collected a season-high three shots against Southeast Missouri (9/23).
2017: Saw action in all 18 matches as a sophomore and started in 15 of the matches…opened the season with a goal on the first weekend of the season against Alabama State (8/20)…also collected an assist in JSU’s win over Middle Tennessee (8/25)…turned in 16 total shots, including four multi-shot contests…tallied a season-high four shots versus Eastern Illinois (10/6)…credited with a pair of on goal chances against Morehead State (10/15)…logged over 1100 minutes of time, including four full time matches.
2016: Put together a solid first season at JSU after sharing top goal-scoring honors on the team with Nadia Plawiuk…registered three goals with all of them coming against OVC competition…her first of three consecutive OVC weekends in which she registered a goal began on at Tennessee Tech (9/23) with Jax State's goal in a 2-1 setback…posted the game-winning goal the following weekend against Eastern Illinois (10/2) as she netted the game winner in the 74th minute…the third goal put JSU on the scoreboard against Southeast Missouri (10/7)….turned a season-best three shots against UT Martin (10/9) and was credited with an assist versus the Skyhawks…finished her first season at JSU having played in 20 matches and starting in 17 of those matches… made her first start of the season against The Citadel (9/18)….tallied 15 shots on the season, including eight on goal chances. She ranked in the top 10 of the OVC in league matches only in points and goals…named to the 2016 OVC All-Newcomer Team.
Pre JSU: The lone state of Alabama signee in the 2016 class…attends Buckhorn High School…played for coaches Jerry Bowman and Adriana Miller…named the Bucks' Team MVP as a freshman and junior…primarily a midfielder on the prep level…compiled 23 goals from 2013 to 2015…registered 10 of BHS's 12 goals during a 13-game schedule as a junior…credited with eight assists through three seasons on the prep level…also a member of the track and field program at BHS…active in the Huntsville Futbal Club since 2008…recently played on the Huntsville FC 98 Girls Blue team, coached by Henry Mpagi…helped the club win a state championship in the spring of 2012…the squad was ranked the best in the state by Got Soccer…won back-to-back Alabama State Cups and claimed the Southern Regional Premier League – Women's U18 in 2015-16…a three-time participant in the U.S. Youth Soccer (Southern) Region III Championships…also developed in the Alabama Olympic Development program and chosen for the Region III Alabama State Team from 2012-15.
Personal: Born June 18, 1998 in Huntsville, Ala…the daughter of Richard and Toya Carden…has one sister, Britney…Her father played soccer at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, while her mother, Tonya participated in crew and women's tennis at UAH.
